This is an interactive map made by me using Matplotlib and Pyplot in Jupyter notebook. I took the points won by Arsenal F.C. after each match from the 2006/2007 and plotted it. Click on the link above to check it out!

This paper describes the report of identifying Impatines necrotic spot virus(INSV) in Hiemalis Begonia. My contribution involved performing RNA isolation of infected plants followed by RT-PCR using INSV specific primers to confirm viral infection. This is the first report of the spread of INSV infection in Begonia x hiemalis in Canada

This is my masters dissertation of my work looking at the characterization of Toxoplasma gondii PH-containing protein-1 (TgPH1) which serves as an ectopic reporter of phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate in mammalian cells
Published in PLOS ONE, 2018
This paper describes the characterization of TgPH1, a protein found in T.gondii that was reported as having affinity towards phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate [PtdIns(3,5)P2]. Using microscopy and pharmacological inhibition, we report that TgPH1 is not a suitable probe for [PtdIns(3,5)P2] but instead it is a probe more suitable for [PtdIns(3)P].

I presented a poster at the 2017 CSMB Conference in Ottawa where I described my characterization of TgPH1 a protein that had potential as an ectopic reporter for phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate when expressed in mammalian cells.
Undergraduate Course, Ryerson University, Department of Chemistry and Biology, -0001
I was a teaching assistant for this course. My responsibilities included instructing students on theory and instrument use and supervising students during the lab. I also graded assignments, lab reports and presentations. This course dealt with structures, functions, chemistry and food applications of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids. The laboratory provides introduction to basic techniques used in analytical biochemistry.

I was a teaching assistant for this course. My responsibilities included instructing students on theory and instrument use and supervising students during the lab. This lab course dealt with experiments on recombinant DNA technology. Experiments included DNA isolation, cloning, and RE digestion, PCR, protein isolation and characterization, SDS-PAGE, and western blotting.

I was a teaching assistant for this course. My responsibilities included instructing students on theory and instrument use and supervising students during the lab. This course deals with the structure, function and chemistry of the molecular building blocks of the cell. The laboratory provides an introduction to the basic biochemical techniques including chromatography, electrophoresis and spectrophotometry.
